You are currently leading a department, team, or project; you are a member of a cross-functional team, or you’ve been assigned to manage and implement a new quality initiative. You’re quickly learning that your role requires a new set of skills because of lack of engagement and action from others. As technical professionals, our effectiveness is usually limited by our inability to work well with others and inspire change. We need to move beyond managing to leading in order to maximize results.

We will discuss strategies and practical ideas to help you grow into a leader that can communicate effectively and inspire and engage others for maximum results. Implementing these strategies will enable you to lead your team from a place of respect and influence and not manipulation, force, or position. As a result, you will be able to successfully complete projects, grow your company culture, and impact results. You will learn how to go from managing to leading so that you can truly inspire and motivate others for results.
